Portugal - Lisbon
Raiza Rezende
With a chemical engineering background, Raiza holds a Naturopathic Nutritionist Diploma (CNM). Her agricultural background lies in 7 years of experience working in 5 EU countries in different farming contexts including permaculture, syntropic agriculture working with Ernst Gotsch directly, agroforestry, holistic management/rotational grazing, market gardening, and most recently working with intensive tree systems in Portugal. She co-founded Agrosystemic, a consultancy company for regenerative agriculture.
Her biggest passion and goal was to link agriculture and food systems to human health.
The Netherlands - Rotterdam
Zuzanna is an environmental nutritionist and systemic entrepreneur. She co-founded a circular food startup upcycling coffee waste into food products during her studies in Denmark. She is a founder of HarvestCare, working with Regenerative Food Pharmacy in the Netherlands and creating social impact bonds. She also hosts a podcast Regenerative Healthcare, interviewing pioneers connecting farming and healthcare. In her free time, she climbs, cooks in community kitchens or plants the seeds in community gardens.
Greece - Athens
Eirini Tsirimokou
Eirini's diverse background in Life Sciences, Business, and Education, coupled with her Integrative Nutrition diploma, makes her a passionate advocate for holistic food systems. With professional experience in Consumer Insights and Branding, alongside hands-on experience on farms, she deepened her knowledge on regeneration. Currently, she holds the position of Communications & Insights Manager | One Health Lead at Sustainable Food Destination Organization (SFDO) in Greece, and she is a co-founder of RHEA Europe. In her free time, you can find her cooking Mediterranean food, practising yoga, and crafting.
Switzerland - Basel
Cristina Laurenti
Cristina is a dietitian and agroecologist by training, holding a bachelor's degree in Nutrition from the University of Turin and a master's degree in Agroecology and Food Sovereignty from the University of Gastronomic Science, Pollenzo. Her master's thesis explored the intersection of nutrition and agroecology in Kenya. In 2021, she joined Agroecology Europe's Board of Directors as the official coordinator of the Youth Network. Following two years of hands-on experience in a farmer cooperative in Sicily, Cristina now works as a researcher at the Food System Science Department in FIBL, Frick. In the future, Cristina aims to further her studies in the interconnection of nutrition and agroecology with a feminist and intersectional approach.
She played volleyball for eight years, now she’s become a walk-in-the-nature addict.
Spain - Barcelona
Sonia Blough
Sonia has an academic background as a cultural anthropologist (University of Southern California) and critical media studies scholar (Universidad Pompeu Fabra) and currently works as a holistic nutritionist (Academy of Healing Nutrition) and research consultant on food systems transformation with Naked Innovations in Barcelona, Spain. Sonia educates and advocates for food as medicine and regenerative agriculture approaches for healthier humans and a healthier planet. Most recently, she has been working to launch a startup related to nutrition and functional mushrooms to connect people to the power of mindfulness and herbalism. She loves to share her knowledge and passion, volunteering on farms, running workshops on fermentation, and educating on food from a holistic perspective.
